Is this event family-friendly?

While we love that kids under the age of 18 are reading, we are an 18+ event.

Are payment plans available?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer payment plans at this time. However, Eventbrite allows for Affirm and similar payment options.

What do I bring with me?

A government-issued ID, bags for your books (or a cart!), a water bottle, and your beautiful, book-loving self! Check out our Book Harvest reader group on Facebook for a Book Harvest attendance guide coming summer 2025.

Are there refunds?

All ticket sales are final. If you can no longer attend Book Harvest, you can submit your ticket for resale, the details of which will be posted December 1, 2024 in the Book Harvest reader group on Facebook.

Is there parking?

Parking at the Hilton Chicago is $70 per night. The Hilton Chicago is centrally located, with abundant alternative parking options and public transport nearby. For non-Hilton parking, the SpotHero app will show available parking by cost.

Is there a FedEx onsite?

Yes!

Is there a quiet room?

Yes! We have a quiet room with charging stations for phones.

Are there any restrictions on tickets?

You must purchase a Book Harvest ticket in order to purchase a brunch add-on.

Only two tickets are able to be purchased per transaction.

Is there a room block?

Room block information will be provided and made public October 13, 2024. Rooms start at $259 per night.

What is your disability policy?

We strive to be as inclusive as we can be for all. If you are in need of accommodations, please email us at bookharvestbookconvention@gmail.com so we can provide proper accommodations and ensure you a positive experience.

Book Harvest complies with all ADA requirements for aisle spacing. If you have a question, please reach out via email, DM on our Instagram, or via our Facebook reader group.

Can I sponsor Book Harvest?

Prohibitions

Please do not vape or smoke on the Hilton Chicago premises. Anyone found to be smoking or vaping during any Book Harvest event will be asked to leave.

Alcohol is not allowed during any Book Harvest event unless provided by Book Harvest. Any individual consuming alcohol must be 21+.
